Reese Witherspoon and her husband Jim Toth have purchased a historic mansion in the actress's hometown of Nashville, Tennessee. According to Zillow, the house was built by a prominent Nashville family and was purchased last year by a couple who did some basic maintenance on the place before putting it on the market again. Witherspoon bought the house for $1.95 million in July.

The actress and her husband have plans to renovate the house, which is located in the affluent Oak Hill neighborhood and near the Tennessee governor's mansion. And although the home is a true fixer-upper, it has good bones — features include three fireplaces, a pool, and a guesthouse.

About the Home:
Size: 3,855 sq. feet
Bedrooms: 4
Bathrooms 3.5
